You look at me and say I look pale!
You’ve begged and pleaded with me to no avail!
All I became was someone who could only fail!
There was no way I felt like I could ever prevail!
Wanted to disappear and leave no trail!
Being a failure at everything in life wasn’t a tall tale!
My soul I didn’t choose to sell!
My mind just became so tragically frail!
I can see in between life and death’s veil!
It’s okay go ahead and take a breath and inhale!
