Before the poem, hello everyone! I know I have been away for a while. The reason being I can only write when my life is going the hard way, (I know it sounds wierd but it's what it is😭) And all this while, life was going pretty good so couldn't think of anything to write 😂. Basically, writing is an escape for me. And here I am back with a mental struggle so here is the poem -

In the tempest of life, I stand alone,
Right to make choices uniquely my own.
Voices surround, opinions take flight,
But in the end, it's my path to ignite.

They whisper advice, their wisdom they share,
Believing they know what's only fair.
Yes they have walked the way but still
But I can't walk without my will

For this journey is mine, a tapestry to weave,
Each thread of desire, I fiercely believe.
In the kaleidoscope of paths that exist,
My heart's compass will lead to resist

They may think they're right, but they cannot see,
The dreams and desires that burn within me.
In this life that's mine, I'll steer my own course,
With passion and purpose, I'll find my own force.

So let their opinions dance in the air,
While I chart my own course with courage to spare.
For it's my life to live, to love, to embrace,
In the end, my heart's voice will lead the chase.
