Handle With Care
A heart is a precious thing,
made entirely of glass.
Careful not to let it fall,
for it will hit the ground and crack.
You lock it in a case,
because you don't want people to touch.
And you threw away the key
that unlocks your trust.
I was exactly like this,
keeping it stowed away.
I thought I locked it up well,
but someone opened the case.
Speaking from experience,
it won't work hiding it in a box;
For, when the right person comes,
they'll already have the key to the lock.
