As I drove along the coast,
I feasted my eye on this beautiful creature, part of creation.
At that moment, I was full of the joys of spring
The thought of making you mine,
I was not baffled.

I could not live a single day without you,
My heart could not beat a day without you,
I walked you down the aisle.
Little did I know that marriage is not an easy ride.

Days passed, and weeks came together, making months.
Months turned into years.
Suddenly, my world came crashing down.
The beautiful smile I fell for,
Now is a constant frown I fear of.
Your perfection which caught my attention is now an imperfection driving away my attention.

Way back; They said things,
I heard things,
Yet I ignored things.
Loved ones I lost, all for you
Those who care, do not anymore
All because of you.
Thought making you happy would make me happier,
But you proved me wrong.

Questioning myself,
what went wrong?
I am stunned in life without a choice.
I am losing the voice of my soul.
I am shattered to the core.
I do not feel the light of the day anymore.
I am dying inside, bit by bit.
I am a bird without wings.

The instructions, precepts and principles which I thought could change you for the better,
You do not take anymore.
I try to understand this relationship,
But not anymore.
Hope has departed.

where lies the peace that made us be at ease?
All things look so bleak.
This union has brought me nothing,
But Sorrow, Sorrow, Sorrow.
