The Old House

The Old House
Lost in time,
weaved with memories,
It was but an old house
Hidden corners whispered tales,
Walls adorned with echoes,
A symphony of creaks and sighs.
Weathered floorboards held secrets,
Ghosts of laughter long gone,
Windows framed stories untold.
In the garden, roses bloomed,
Their petals brushed by nostalgia,
A dance with the winds of yesteryears.
Faded photographs on the mantle,
Faces frozen in moments,
A gallery of bygone smiles.
Yet, in the silence, a heartbeat,
A timeless pulse of history,
The old house, a relic of our journey.
