dreamscape
Sunset over the horizon,
Sweet, syrupy voice lulls me to sleep.
Coming across a lone island,
Tell me all has been meet.

Dark, brooding storm clouds appear,
Threatening to rain on my parade.
Sweet, little hummingbird whispers in my ear,
Just stay awake.

Now I have woken up from myself,
Seeing a girl with a butterfly.
Telling herself to go somewhere else,
And to never say another lie.

Winter is fast approaching,
And all the animals are sleep.
Tell me another story,
And never whisper another peep.
