Every soul that passes the gate,
#WritcoPoemPrompt8
Every soul that passes the gate,
Has passed a test of fate,
Trudging along on tired feet,
Almost there, refusing to be beat
Torned and shattered
with visible bruise
scalded, scarred
even without humanly coat.
And still its moving,
Shaking, and walking along.
Now fear has gone.
Pain is numb.
And the mind has turned stone cold.
Just hope remains
At escaping the earthy realm.
Oh!
Every soul that passes the gate,
Has passed a test of fate,
Has been broken beyond repair
And comes back to the creator to
be rejuvenated, revived with life again.
