The ways of Humanity
Are we not
Built to be
Never to cross
Our humanity.
I sit and ponder
Of life before
Where man shall dwell
Alone once more.
We do not live
Within our means
Like a denied child
Of empty dreams.
Like you and me
We cannot say
If all shall end
Here one day.
To hear and see
The world in pain
Makes me cry
Within my shame.
Humanity's fate
Shall end in war
If we deny
And ignore.
Don't look behind
Or forever fear
Our humanity's grief
May so Be near.
