Renewal
I wonder how I used to be,
In my tiny little space.
The silly part of me,
With all the scars in place.

I wonder how I used to be,
With all those dark shades.
What people would see.
And how it all fades.

I wonder how I used to be,
So ready for learning.
Throwing out my glee,
And with so much yearning.

I wonder how I used to be,
Starting out in a haze.
Thinking I'm so free,
When I'm staggering through a maze.

I wonder how I used to be,
And how I found myself again.
It came without a fee,
I waited out the rain.

I wonder how I used to be,
Without him being around.
How he ever saw me,
How our hearts are bound.

I wonder where I want to be,
Looking at the deep skies.
With a hopeful happy plea,
Leaving all those echoed cries.
