Strange Fruits
I've been told so many times,
to not eat these funny fruits
but I love their taste and I love the scent
they give from vine to root.
I guess I'm stubborn but they look so good,
I'm sure you will agree,
but they never dared to taste them
yet,
they stand there and judge me.
I've been told so many times,
to leave those weird fruits out
but I wonder a lot, I ponder a lot
about their types and whereabout.
I guess that I will never learn
but neither will they know,
I'll have to be the only one
to reap what these fruits sow.
