I sold out my heart to the World,
it felt like the right thing to do
Its been a rough ride lately,
All cause I've done things alone.

Never thought about this before,
so lonely in the shame and pain
Maybe sometimes it's the ignorance,
always trying to drown in bottles to avoid the pain
But each time I sober up,
guess it's always there to remind me that I'm still living in it
I wasn't careless,
but it felt like the right thing to do....I sold out my heart to the world

Yes, it received me with both hands,
but lately the ride has been rough
Hope I'd wake up from this dream,
but this is reality
Thoughts flawless or maybe dark and careless,
Guess I kindah like it like this,
all cause I've done things alone

Yes, I sold out my heart to the world,
echoes still loud like it was yesterday
But seems like I'm fading away,
why are you runnin' away from me
Is it that I'm now with it,
yes, I'm talking about the world
I traded my heart with it just to find pleasure,
Or was it to Stare a glimpse into its leisure
Now my heart is filled with all its "treasure",
guess I enjoyed the ride for a while
Now it's time to hit the road to the next stop

Yes, I sold out my heart to the world,
but no regrets cause it made me who I am today
Shall we retaliate and go back to it??
Or maybe shine and illuminate??
Is it the skies that hold up the moon,
or maybe garnishing thoughts that bloom....
Its been a rough ride lately,
all cause I've done things alone
But hold me now,
cause I don't want to go back to that place again......End!!!
