Tiny fractures in the foundation
slowly eroding and weakening
unseen by the innocent naked eye
yet destined to bring about our downfall.

From a small crack here to a slight tremor
each imperceptible on its own
but together they mix and conspire
to bring the mighty castle to its knees.

Insignificant moments of neglect,
ignored warnings of impending doom
leading to a catastrophic collapse
leaving nothing but rubble in its wake.

Like a spiderweb woven delicately,
each strand fragile yet strong
the cracks begin to spread and grow
until they can no longer be contained.

The weight of the world bears down
on the weakened shaking structure
and with a deafening roaring echo
it crumbles into nothing but dust.

All that remains is a memory,
of what once stood tall and proud
but in the end it was just tiny fractures
that led to its inevitable downfall.

So heed the warnings of the cracks,
address them before they multiply
for in the end it is all the small things
That bring about the greatest falls.
