The Star-crossed Lovers

The Star lover, had once a wish...
If he could touch the Star, amiss
If he could someday,
Make somehow a narrow way,
For the Star, he adore,
To land at his door,
If he could see his reflection,
In the bright tessels of her warmth,
If he could live love's vigour,
He has eternally yearned for.

Untouched of when,
His infant yet innocent wish,
Turned in the core of his heart,
Into an insatiable desire for the Star.
Unsure of how his existence,
Is now a tale of,
An irresistible resistance.
He with a smile into abyss,
Nurtured his oblivious last wish,
For he was keen,
To taste love's perennial nectar, so serene.

The charming pangs of love,
Were sweeter then though,
But the destiny ended in a bitter row.
For he, who lost his vision,
To his frail decision.
Alas! lost his vital being,
In the fragrant mist,
Of the sweet sweet love.
