I seek the one who my soul shall meet,
In bustling crowds and city streets.
Eyes filled with hope, searching each face,
Hoping for a connection, an embracing embrace.

But I am lost among nameless unknowns,
Aching to find the one my heart truly owns.
In this sea of strangers, I'm adrift in despair,
Wondering if I'll find love, and if it's fair.

Where do I start? Where do I go?
To discover someone whom my heart will know.
Shall I venture to cafes, where laughter abounds?
Or perhaps into parks, where peace can be found?

Yes, I've been hurt, battered by love's storm,
But it won't extinguish the fire inside, still warm.
For I bear no grudge, no bitterness shall nest,
Within my soul's chambers, love's seeds shall infest.

I refuse to surrender, give up in despair,
'Cause I know, true love awaits, somewhere out there.
Through pain's darkest shadow, I'll search without cease,
With hope as my compass, guiding to inner peace.

With courage as my steadfast guide,
I sought to break beyond the tide,
Meeting new people, souls unknown,
Creating bonds that would soon be sown.

Of a love that sets my heart beaming
Through the night, my thoughts will stray
To a future where true love will stay

I'll keep believing in happily ever after
Though the road may twist and disaster
