With all I've seen, and all that I've done.,
all that I've been through, in my life.
Sometimes I feel that I am at my end,
can't take no more, my life is full of strife.
So It seems like, there is a raging war
that's going on, just on the other side.
It's a fight for eternity, over my soul._
it's been back and forth, just, as is the ocean tide.
Good vs Evil, light or dark, it's always there,
taking from us, that within us, our inner spark.
Devil always trying, in every way, to pull me down,
while God is lifting me up, and out of the dark.
4 too many times, I've stumbled and tripped up
falling flat, face first, into the muck, my sin.
Looking back over, the past days of my life,
what I've done, and just where I've been.
My demons attacking me, my fears, my hopes,
from every direction, as these days pass me bye.
With everything happening around me, why?
why has it taken so long for me, to look to the sky.
Too long, I've lived my life, lost in the dark,
spiraling downward, on a path leading to hell.
Blind, stupid or never really believed, why?
I'm leaning more towards the latter 2, can't tell.
Come to a stop! as all is layed out before my eyes,
all that I have seen, all that He's done for me!
I faced a realization, God is there, He's real,
I've found Him, or He me and now I cannot deny.
Looking for peace? find Him, He was never lost,
He's always been there, don't wait til we die.
