THROUGH IT ALL
Even though it's hard
and I'm struggling through it all,
You may yet see me struggle
But you will never see me fall
In life you will make mistakes,
There will be people who hurt you
Mistakes are ammunition, all part of the healing process
Against future catastrophes.
And you may have regrets,
And unless there's a way you could get them back,
Focus on the happiness now.
And you may lose people you love,
pour that love on the people who need it,
Even more.
And through it all,
even in the darkest times,
In the burgeoning of chances,
I'll keep my heads up high.
Fighting in the dark,
Crawling my way out,
In the slimmest of hope,
waiting for a bright spark.
