only one wish
Younger me beam with smiles yearly as a party would be thrown.
Unaware of conditions ahead kept me alone,
About to be a real adult is a concern now
As I hear papa sigh loudly at dusk with a frown.
My heart jumps out of my mouth every day
As my responsibility looks sternly at me in a way
That I give it puppy eyes to have mercy like I was taught.
My heart beats every moment mama was lost in thought,
Thoughts about the challenges placed on her.
Now, I wish to be a teenager forever Cuddling up to mama's breast,
Having a large number of cereals in my bowl
and most importantly, stating what I need from papa.
