A New Hope
Her voice, sweet and melodious
Her face, cute and glorious
Gracious are her fervent smiles
Glossy almonds are her angelic eyes
My eyes were glued from the very first glance, to hers
A bonding that’s pervasive for many years, as it appears
Bringing two halves of Moon to make it whole and full
Marking full stop to my quest for completeness, to be called a couple
Her eyes glisten with pure innocence
Or of joy, shedding away the tears from the pains she’s been through, a reminiscence
Or isn’t it normal for eyes to not dry eyes be
Like lotus petals shine in the morning falling mist
Know I not, anything at all , I wonder if I was expected to be knowing
Well, isn’t it too early to be so much thinking!
I wish I knew what all she missed to say
Minutes flew like milli seconds, so fast and away
With a sudden voice around, she and I were jolted to the current we were wading through
With a reminder that we were not alone yet, so to cut loose
Wish I had a chance of buying a few more minutes of talk time
To see those eyes a little longer, while they expectantly see mine
To share a little more of me
More importantly, to hear her speak!
