Mask
It amazing how far we'll go,
To hide our true self from the world,
perhaps we don't want people to know ,
how far they really mean to Us.
Which is funny , because the truth is we would do anything for them,
We travel incredible distances,
Risk our lives, even fight monsters for their sake.
But I suppose it can be scary to admit you need people,
Some might see that as a weakness or a liability.
After all , what greater pain is there than losing someone you Love or worse.😓😓
Finding out someone you Love has left you far behind.
I guess that's why we feel the need to hide away and protect ourselves.
So we put on a mask,
it's not hard to understand why,
What hard is knowing that sometimes, the mask is who we really are.
