As painful as it seems, as you read the heading,
This Pandemic has taken the lives of many Heartbreaking Families,
Affected our Brothers and Sisters across the Globe.
Some utter, it's a Punishment,
Some believed, it's a Blessing,
But what is it really,
Islamically ?
To me, its a Slow-Down of one's time.
Tell me:-
What's the timing of your Salah now, did you say,
"Oh Salah, I have Work",
Tell me:-
Did you notice the dusty Quran on the table, Yeah! that one, that watched you go to bed every night, begged for you, to voice its words.
Tell me:-
What is your Meal Type now?
Are you still Free-Spending,
Fantasizing all the different Fast-Food outlets,
Forgetting that you Borrowed a body,
For Health and Strength,
Now you self-distruct it, by wanna be heroes of Follow-Fashioners.
Tell me :-
How is your grand-parents, or parents, what about your siblings and maybe even your kids,
Did you ever noticed their funny characteristics,
How some nourish their plants and feed the stray animals,
While some pretend it's okay,
Watch how they laugh and filled their joyous tummies,
Wait! did that bring back some exciting memories .
Tell me:-
Which fancy nail stores or make-up styles do you visit or use now,
Useless isn't it!
Now your face is all covered up,
Nails are all cut short,
Clothes are all tidy and neaten up,
Even your surroundings are all sanitized and cleaned up.
Which Jutted my memory back to the days where I was taught,
Wudu-Ablution, is the Cleanliness of one's body,
Somehow, it maybe is the Cure,
Maybe this Isolation is not soo horrific, afterall.
Its a new change, so let's get together and work with it,
Battle your faith against your Sinful Souls,
And do not fear the Corona Virus,
Verily, for I have placed my trust in Allah and so to, shall every Believing Soul...!!!.
