Is there something special about a New Year?
Than turning the last page of calendar.
An occasion for sticks on drums.
Fire to crackers, cocktail parties,DJ nights.
Drunken nights to hangover dawn.
Enthusiastic resolutions, diluted by lethargy.Promises made to be broken.
Year is new or not,Are not trees spread branches,bear fruit and shed leaves?
Are not birds soar in sky,find a broken nest or breed the young?
The law of jungle any further changed?
Doesn't the deer flee from leopard?
lion roars in furry,or Zebra change its strips?Do the fish try the shore ,or rabbit the ocean,does turtle increase speed? Then why lot of noise around.
Are we not survived pandemic,
Put up with new normal?
cocooned to family and friends,
endured the lose, alluviated pain
smiled in rain and United ourselves while keeping distance.
Nothing is new , everything continues from moment to moment,from happenings to happenings.
Only one thing is changed
