Lord Jesus, we kneel at Your feet before we dare raise a leg and step into the unknown.

Prepare us, oh Lord, for whatever lies before us:
Protect our heels,
Provide sufficient cover for our vulnerable heads.
Ready us for whatever lies ahead.

Nurture our minds to the joys we are about to receive.
Strengthen our hearts to the pain that may also come our way.

Protect the hands that provide:
Balm for the writer;
Gloves for the hands that fight.

Inspiration to the worker;
Strength to those who right now feel a bit weaker.

Food for the hungry...

You said, "Man cannot live by bread alone" -
Lord give us cake (other good things).

Forever we've been toiling at the wine -press but never have we ever tasted this fruit of the vine.
Your strength is made perfect in our weakness; Your sufficient supply in this moment of need.
Isn't this the right time to show Your power divine?

Everything in Your hands we leave
For in You alone oh Lord we believe.

Tired of always being on the receiving end, it's time for these vessels to give...
