I gave them my heart
A heart filled with love
But what returned!
Hatred wrapped like gold.

I gave them my hand
A hand ready to offer support
But guess what I received!
The same telling me to back off.

I offered all I could
To make them understand
But their eyes always blinded
And their ears going deaf
Especially when it was their turn
They never paid back.
