Playing ootside till the street lights came on, as soon as they did every kid was gone

Tooth fairy, santa, easter bunny any excuse to make some money

Long summers doing heehaw, maybe occasionally helping the maw

Playing with toys all day long and singing to the mirror yer favourite song

Cuddles 'n' kisses on demand, you and your mates starting a band

Being silly and pulling pranks but you were raised right you always said thanks

Try and think back to that time when life was a game, then maybe as a parent you won't seem so lame.
