A battle is coming
And I am getting ready
It's a tough one
That only ends one way
No draws
It's a battle
I know I can not win
My opponents are stronger
With better weapons
To crush me if they can
But who initiated the battle?
Well, I did
I woke up my opponents
I knew sooner or later
It was gonna come
It couldn't be avoided
Why not start it sooner then?
When the time comes
And I am not strong enough
To fight back
If I ever get weak
And can't fight the battle
May all my allies forgive me
For initiating a battle I couldn't win
The battle you made me start
And if I ever let my guard down
Know I fought a good fight
I didn't choose the right weapons
Nor was I taught how to fight
I did my best.
