Mirror mirror in my hand
Inner beauty before u stands
Make plain to see what i hold inside
The gift of courage is what youll find
The ones who stare see only pain
And come to you mirror only in vaine
My refection shows whats behind my eyes
To myself I can hide no lies
Love for my self undenying
My words and stories stay amplifying
Most perception of beauty only goes skin deep
Wading in the shallow waters from our tears we weep
Tearing down others they think helps them grow tall
The rival within shall be how they fall
I pray their lost souls are not lost for too long
We "flawed and imperfect" ones remain strong
The ones who hold scars have a story to tell
Misguided blessings in unfortunate hell
Open their eyes so truth can reveal
That ugly fills emptyness outter beautys not real
The voice in our hearts our spirit living within
Leaves when we die taking course in the wind
