Oh, if only
the walls of this recluse
would squeeze in to
suck the life out of you.

Oh, if only,
the days when you kept faith
would just delete themselves
from your life.

Oh, if only,
the Gods that have been silent,
absent all your life,
would crumble just like you.

Oh, if only,
the pain that you have suffered,
would seep out into the world,
and leave you forever.

Oh, if only,
miracles that never came for you,
would disappear themselves
from the world too.

Oh, if only,
death would embrace you,
and nurture and comfort you,
as life never did.
