I'm my own worst enemy
My mind is playing tricks on me,
So I cannot clearly see.
It has to be an illusion,
Caused by my own delusion.
I feel so alone,
All I can do is moan and groan.
Right now my world is dark,
Someone please give me a spark.
Feeling like no one will ever truly care,
It leaves me in despair.
I feel so ashamed,
Theres so much to be proclaimed.
But I keep it all within,
I dont feel like I'll ever fit in.
I feel like an outcast,
Surely this feeling wont last.
I'm my own worst enemy,
I need to regain some positive energy.
So I can get out of my head,
And start getting ahead.
I'm hanging on by a thread,
So I'll be sure to take my daily bread.
I'll tie a knot at the end of my rope.
And bring myself a little hope.
