it's not actually how it's said
I grew up from a child to adult,
Brewing my mind with expectations,
Songs and stories of how we all meet someone,
Special or soulmate kind of one,
But as we swim through the waves of adulthood,
It takes no longer to realise that,
Eyes don't magically meet the gaze,
Fingers won't truly feel the jolt that we search,
There is a surplus amount of criteria to even be friends with,
And here we are daydreaming of a whimsical encounter to just walk into our rooms of life,
But in reality it takes immense amount of courage and embarrassment to even search for a companion,
Or maybe we are delusioned by our folks, Where the narration of love stories is not how things are,
But rather a wishful fantasy...
Which we wait for ..
Inflicting chaos rather than change
....in our mundane lives ....
