A Letter of the Dying Girl
If I die now,
I guess it would be fine;
For my life holds not much meaning,
and my name owns nothing much;

If I die now,
I'd probably embrace it;
For letting go needs not much strength:
An effortless demise;

If I die now,
Please treat this as my letter;
To please burn my notes and diaries,
Delete all my accounts;

Please bury me on sunset
with daylilies above my bed,
Let my fragments be taken
by the wolf's howl to the moon;

Please let me watch the orange sun
before it disappears,
before the day and night rebounds
as my last souvenir;

Please let me leave like burning coal
with no trace left behind,
To dissipate into the wind
Until the eventide.
