Simple Stare
When a simple stare,
Becomes a glare,
There is so much more at stake.

When the life you know,
Your job, your home,
Is more than you can take.

Where would you go,
If you had no home,
If you had no family?

When life’s a mess,
And there’s less time than stress,
And you’ve made all you can make,
Excuses come, not all, but some,
Pushing time along the away,
So you simply stare,
Into the air,
Remembering every reason you should stay.
