Endless despair
Dressed like night,
She eludes me like my sleep,
I can't even catch her in my dreams,
A forgone fantasy,
I desperately hope,
Time morphs the sight of her,
And she eventually slips,

She is the ether of my existence,
Memory will replace with sky,
Pulled out a disappearing act,
At least I deserved a bye,

Love was not what I felt for her,
She was the knowledge I was trying to gain,
What was in those pages,
Dwelling on it,
I might go insane,

Is it the fault in my stars,
Or she in a different constellation,
My end a white dwarf,
Hers probably a supernova,
No silver lining for this reunion,
Even after our total annihilation..
