Unbroken
Time forever passing,
Your voicing fades into the wind.
A love born to be eternal,
Left standing all alone.

Features I can not remember,
A touch I'll never feel.
The fire burns colder,
Beaten by the rain–like glaciers–
From above.

Laughter echoes in the distance,
Trouble finds it's way.
Mountains digging into my shoulders,
Leave my feet to give way.

No longer will these memories stay,
If time passing reaches day.
I must go on without these,
Past the fields of cherry trees
Painted with your scent.

For my strength will not be broken
By the pain brought by another,
And my heart will learn to burn brighter
When the rain that clouds my judgment,
Clears the way for the fire.
