Forget the stories in the newspapers
Money buys the news,
the roasted meat sellers have the papers,
there's nothing new.
Ignore the history books,
the names of our heroes aren't inside,
but the stories of rich crooks,
decorated on the front page
our main heroes are at a corner.

Do you need a hero?
then, check the market place
you'll find your hero's face.
skinny after being beaten by the sun
struggling to feed her only son.
Check the man next door,
poverty too calls him poor,
hustling to see his child rich
to see him reach the level he couldn't.
You see that young boy?
That doesn't have time to play with toys
Everyday is a legit hustle
Yahoo doesn't know his mail.

Do you need a hero?
Then check inside-
and see your supermom
you can buy her a jacket or a cape
She has saved your life
lots of times, more than Superman
See your dad at home,
the newspapers don't know his name
with your voice, give him fame.
Celebrate them, celebrate yourself.
