It was an endless night,
I couldn't understand what to do;
Felt like everything ended
Finding light felt imposible too.

Nothing seemed right
Was only going through hell,
Couldn't share my emotions with anyone
I was all alone and pale.

I was depressed,
But had to pretend
Yes, all is well
I'm fine and that's the end.

When such things happen
You get to know,
Who's your real friend
And who's there for a show.

Gradually I realized,
God is the one,
I need to talk to him
And I need none.

I became stronger, more matured
Yes I came to know,
Things happen for a reason,
So people come and go.

Life doesn't happen to you,
Life happens for you!
Everything is happening for the best,
You change from the old version to new.
