I wonder if you
remember back when
we were so close
things were different then

waking up
hearing the mourning dove
the simple times
of our younger lives

though we all
had it tough
we had eachother
and that was enough

just like brothers
there for one another
it was all love
just kids trying to have fun

now I see
we've gone different ways
and the moments becoming memories
though it feels like yesterday

we had our last laugh
our last play together
our last memory
our last adventure
