I often wonder why I can’t remember something that just happened recently
Is it because it’s getting harder to remember or simply easier to forget
Do I go all in on my wager or do I cheaply fold
Throwing cards away like memories
Till I have nothing left to bet

Somedays are easier than the rest
Should I show my cards to everyone
Or keep them held closely to my chest
