Darker the soul,
Fathomless depths,
Stories untold.
She sits alone there
Deep in her thoughts
Mulling over her
What ifs and what nots.
Lone stray tear
Drops on her hand
The pain and fear
Never lets her take a stand.
Unknown to her a shadow observes her
Contemplating how to approach her
Unknown to her he yearns for a smile
For which he'd go the extra mile.
He watches her everyday
Longing to hold her
Take away all her pain and sorrows
Letting sunshine surround her.
Cursing the stray tears
That run down her cheeks
He yearns to giver her
