For the ascension of one
Necessary is the descension of the other;
It is easier to remain neutral,
But the honest always choose the harder.
Discovery can be a blessing or a cursing,
Depending on one's point of view;
Eventually, the one revealing
Will left the other without a clue!
Dilemmas do not exist,
And the betrayal of heart is forbidden;
The choices may be covered with mist,
But in the end your pick cannot be hidden.
I believe that it's late to make amend:
I have lost my beloved;
I have betrayed a friend;
