When I'm afraid of your response?
How do I show you
What I'm feeling inside
When I can't even describe it?

We started out cool
Just two young persons
Walking the same road
But somewhere along the way
Something happened .
Something I can't control
No matter how hard I try.

Somewhere along the way
I started craving you,
Pondering, wondering, thinking of you.
Wanting more and more of you.
Wanting to hold and be held by you.

You look at me and my heart stops.
You smile and I forget to breathe.
You touch me and my body shivers.

What I wouldn't give
To be in your arms all night.
To feel you , breathe you.
Have you whisper my name
And tell me all your secrets.
I want to know all of you;
The good, the bad and the unknown.
I want to be your comfort, your joy
The reason you smile.

Yet, inspite of it all
I'm scared.
Scared because I've felt this way before.
Scared because I don't know how you feel.
So rather than jeapodize our beautiful friendship.
I'll just wait patiently
Until I know for sure
That I can love you
Like you deserved to be loved
And have that love returned.
