I can sense the nostalgia in your gaze while I try to avoid it,
afraid of what I am suppose do if our eyes meet
your words were simply a reminder of my fear that I had carried for so long
why did the destiny set us apart, where we went wrong?
it feels like yesterday but it has been ages now
from inseperable to strangers dear fate you played real well, wow!!
for me you were the sun that shone so bright
I felt secured my comfort zone was your light!
how did we end up like this who is to blame
do you even know how my heart breaks when I hear your name?
alas love wasn't enough to hold us together or may be my affection lacked
now all I have left is our memories, what happened to the promises we made?
you've gone so far yet you're so near
may be I am only the one stuck in past or are you also dear??
all I can do now is hope for the good old times to be back
pretending to be fine while my heart is a wreck!!!
