Far away from home
On a fine Friday, at two in the morning, I was looking up at the ocean of the sky.
The chilly, soothing breeze gave me a tender hug.

As I observed the floating clouds, I couldn't help but wonder if they carried a hint of my hometown.
Have they come into contact with my home's ceiling?
The clouds made me jealous.

Then, as I peered beneath the clouds to see the only thing my house and I can view together—the stars—it made us feel closer.

Standing on a balcony in a strange city, I felt alone. Fortunately, the stars and clouds are now my friends, and I no longer feel alone.
