Remembering the days of past,
yawning and drowning
in moments and thoughts
that are long gone.
I am an old dog now.

Bones used to flicker,
crazy was heart and the soul.
Lost in joy and sorrow
but I am an old dog now.

What's gone is gone,
what's done is done.
The long haul is over
'cause I am an old dog now.
