I hope I'm wrong and still unsure.
I'm glass half empty, not glass half full.
I hear the word friend, and trust, and honor.
But by words and actions the truth is obvious.
No doubt, no question I am reliable.
The shirt off my back, it's the least I can do.
A friend in need I'll help,no hesitation
It's in my blood, it's in my station.

I look at you, I see right through.
Do as I say not as I do.
Talk a big game that I can see through.
When you fell down, I helped you up.
And now times passed, now you're a chump.
You've judged me harshly, and pointed your finger.
And out of jealousy you've missed the big picture.
But I've suspected this all along.
I knew I was right and wished I was wrong.
A friendship is gone, our friendship spoiled.
In this world, so few are loyal.
