My Guiding Star
Under the moonlight,
I sat next to a wise friend;
He pointed at a star to me,
Seemingly the brightest,
He said, "That is your future,
Keep reminding yourself of it,
It can be as bright as that,
If only you put your mind to it."
So every night I see this star,
Right above my head,
I feel it guide me spiritually,
Whenever I feel hopeless,
I say "That is my future,
I will keep reminding myself,
That it can be as bright as that,
I'll only do the best I can."
