I asked you what happens when we die,
do you still believe we will be born again to meet in another life?
You posited the thought of nothingness,
an outlook of which opposes the hopeful nature of your soul.
I brought forth a revelation only recently unveiled in my mind.
It no longer scares me to even consider the infinite possibilities for our experiences when our bodies finally give out.
I find myself in a state of clarity and acceptance.
I need not eternity, nor reincarnation.
I need not even damnation to fear.
I can only wish now for that nothingness, but for melancholy reasons...
