From the colour of my skin,
to the texture of my hair,
to the length of my strands,
to the breadth of my smile.
To the stride of my gait,
to the span of my arms,
tp the depth of my bossom.
To the curve of my hips,
to the glow of my skin,
MY BALCK IS BEAUTIFUL!
People say am way too black.
i glow alot.
but, who cares about the world.
MY BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL.
it will not be contained,
only i will define it.
when i look in the mirror,
my very soul cry out loud, unabashedly,
i speak it out loud,
i declare it anew,
wheather celebrated,
imitated,
exploited,
abused.
whether natural from inside,
or skillfully applied.
MY BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL!
To evryone out there,
i speak for us all
i move for us all
we cannot be denied of being black.
MY BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL
and it's what defines US!
