You swore to care and love me til death do us part
But I guess a part of me died when you broke my heart

To never bring each other pain where the words we spoke
I meant it with every breath, but to you, it was all a joke

You left me here crying on the floor
Broken as I have never been before

I would never have guessed it would end in tears
Thought that we would be happy together for years

Over a year since you walked away from me
I am as happy as I could ever be

I have found a new path in life
Where I am no longer craving to be someone's wife

It’s an adventure that will make me feel free as a dove
It’s a journey to make me learn self-love
