Yin & Yang
Two brothers alike, but altogether different
For one blooms with the Lily
In the waking morning Sun
And brings about joy, bliss satisfaction and unceasing peace
While the other grows with the Dahlia
In the dark of night
Inspiring envy, wretched rage and poignant hate
I've seen them in the hearts of men
And even in the decadences of gods
Both come equally in steps known
But unseen by young minds
Both are sides of the same coin
A coin fashioned by the depths of one's soul
And by the corners of one's mind
With each side bearing different destinations
Although, the side chosen,
Though it may not seem so
Is always made by our own ineffable toss.
