"Others Like Me.."
Ashfur pulled his sleeves down, fully aware of other people and it made him self conscious, it always did. "You don't have to hide from them." Keiran whispered. Ashfur looked around, there were men and women who had the same scars he did. "There are others like me." Ashfur said. Keiran nodded. "Your staring." One man said, his tone wasn't rude at all. "Sorry.." Ashfur muttered looking down. "No! It's cool. I got this from trying to kill myself, I tried to slit my wrists and went all the way up." He said, rolling his sleeves up. Ashfur cringed at the scar. "Nasty isn't it?" He asked. Keiran nodded. "Don't be like me, save yourself from your inner demons." He said softly. Ashfur rolled his sleeves up. "Thank you." He said. Rennen smiled. "No problem." He said. "And no cutting tonight." He added. Ashfur nodded. "I mean it. Absolutely no cutting for the next several weeks." Rennen said. Ashfur sighed. "Don't worry I'll keep him in check." Hollyleaf said. Ashfur jumped. Keiran chuckled, catching his husband. "And you literally jumped this time." He said. "I'm glad someone thinks it's comical." Ashfur retorted dryly. "Who is you?" Rennen asked. "His personal babysitter." Hollyleaf teased. Ashfur rolled his eyes. "She's a friend." Ashfur said. "And a friend who will keep you in check. I remind him of his meds every night, talk him through his racing thoughts and get him through his dreams." Hollyleaf said. Rannen nodded. "She's a nuisance." Ashfur...
